Obituary of Dwight Hibner SR

Dwight Franklin Hibner, Sr. Age 68, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at his home in Cisne, Illinois. He was surrounded by his family, whom he loved with all of his heart. Dwight was born in Elwood, IL and lived in Morris, IL and Houston, Texas, before relocating to Cisne, IL three years ago when he and his wife purchased the Lakewoods Flying Duck Sporting Clays range. He was a pipefitter and a loyal member of Local 422 in Joliet, IL for 35 years. He worked 20 years for Modern Builders Industrial Concrete in Rockdale, IL. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Geraldyne Marr Hibner of Cisne; sons, Gregory Hibner (Kim) of Decatur, and Dwight F. (Lisa) Hibner, Jr. of Monroe, LA; daughter, Becky Hibner Koelle (Doug) of Morris; and sisters, Sarah Wachs of Richfield Park, AZ, Mae Brockett of Morris, IL, Millie Garland of Denton, TX and Ida Canaday of Decatur, IL; he had nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three newborn children, Francis, Corrina, and Jennifer Hibner; his sisters, Edna Weltmeyer and Ruth Pehlke; and brothers, Eldon and Francis Hibner. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, IL with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Reverend Spenser Meagher. Local services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Local visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
