Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Stanley
Jennifer Lynn Stanley, age 36, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on January 29, 1987 in Joliet to Dianna Lerma and Timothy Miller, Jennifer was a lifetime area resident, graduating from Morris High School Class of ’05. She achieved her Bachelor’s Degree from Governor’s State University in 2016, making the Dean’s List. Jennifer worked for Jewel-Osco in Joliet and previously in Morris for close to 20 years, in many different roles including Human Resources.
In July of 2013, Jennifer met Conrad “Etty” Stanley, and the two were married on September 8, 2018 in Mazon, IL. The young couple started their family, with the birth of their son, Logan Gerald Stanley in 2016, and their daughter, Lillian Faye Stanley in 2019. Jennifer was an amazing mother, and loved spending as much of her time as possible with her children. She particularly enjoyed working on different activities and crafts with them. While the family grieves for the loss of Jennifer, they are comforted knowing her spirit will live on in Logan and Lillian.
Along with her husband and children, Jennifer is also survived by her parents, mother Dianna (Fernando) Lerma, and father Timothy (Florence) Miller; her grandmother, Gloria Bolz; her sister Laurie (Steven) Day; father and mother-in-law Conrad and Beverly Stanley; niece and nephews Brady, Scarlett and Archie; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins and extended family and dear friends.
