He went to work in the fields of Serbia at a young age, harvesting and plowing by hand as well as raising cattle. He is the beloved husband of the late Kata Eric (2022); loving father of Nada (Mike) Brozovich, Milan (Donna) Eric, Slobodan “Victor” (Veronika) Eric and Dusica “Darlene” (Rene) Otto; devoted grandfather of Joseph (Erin) Eric, Matthew (Amber) Eric, Catherine (Adam Berryhill) Otto, Stacie (Joe) Fechter, Robert (Crissy) Otto, Meghan (Jesse) Johnson, Joseph (Alyssa Edges) Otto, Nicholas (Taylor Ford) Brozovich, Lucas (Crystal) Brozovich and Jacob Brozovich; proud great-grandfather of numerous great-grandchildren. Mike retired from Local 75 after many years of dedicated service. He was a talented rotisserie griller who always looked forward to the annual fall ritual of making sausage, bacon and a variety of smoked meats.
