I have not known Gloria for long, but it didn’t take long for her to make a positive impression on me. She was a lovely, sweet lady who was full of energy & smiles, a true joy to be with. I offer my condolences to the family and to all who loved her. RIP, Gloria.

I knew Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell since I entered the monastery. They were there for all my important events. There are so many memories I have. All good ones. I heard all the prayer requests Gloria had. I think she prayed more than the nuns did! Ha Ha! She would tell me all the novenas she was praying. I do not know how she kept up with them. When I left the monastery we still kept in touch with each other. I will greatly miss talking to her on the phone or getting text messages. Eternal Rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her may she rest in peace.

Gloria was my only Sister-in-law, and we both were the same age and had long time marriages until we both became widows. We lived so far apart, we could mostly just call one another. We had great conversations, and laughs. Thank goodness for free long distance calling. We never spoke for less than 45 minutes. Mostly longer. I'll miss you Cookie, but I'll keep all the fun talks and memories alive in my heart. Look, around for me in a few years. Lots, of love, Annie

My cousin Cookie was the glue that kept the family together. She would make it a point to call me and say, " you should call or send a birthday card to (another cousin) " they would appreciate it". She was such a loving and thoughtful person. I loved her dearly!2
