Obituary of Henry Zuidema, Jr.

Age 55, a longtime area resident, passed away early Sunday morning, August 6, 2023, at Aperion Care in Marseilles, IL.

Hank was born September 19, 1967, in Blue Island, IL to the late Patricia (nee White) and Henry Zuidema, Sr.  He was raised and educated in Burbank, IL.  He was a 1985 graduate of Reavis High School.

He is the loving brother of Esther Zuidema, Tammy (Ray) Kulbeda, Todd, Mark and Shawn Zuidema; dear uncle of Nicole, Brittney, Cory and Madisyn; proud great uncle of eight.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Hank was a warehouse worker for several years.  He enjoyed the outdoors and would often talk about boating with the family when they were younger.  He was a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.

As it was Hank’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded.  All services are private.
