Obituary of Tina Marie Marx

Tina Marie Marx, age 58, of Morris, IL passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.  She was born August 6, 1965 in Morris to Mary (nee Small) and the late Dean Darm.

Tina grew up in Mazon, IL and graduated from MVK High School.  She worked as a legal secretary for many years. 

Tina enjoyed camping and traveling.  She liked to have a good time by visiting and going out to eat with friends and family. She was the happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren.   She will be remembered as a loving and caring mom, grandmother, daughter and sister.

Survived by her children, Nicole (Sylvan) Olson and Brad Chapman; grandchildren, Addie Olson, Bruce Barr, Lainie Olson, Travis Barr, Aubree Barr, Olivia Barr, Branch Chapman and Gracelyn Chapman; her mother, Mary Darm; sisters, Tammy (Jeff) Milbauer and Tracey Milton; and her beloved dog, Brody.  Many nieces and dear friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Marx; her father, Dean Darm; and brother in-law, Chuck Milton.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Tina Marie Marx will be Saturday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson St., Morris, IL.  Inurnment will follow at Mt.
