June Mildred Schroeder (nee Stein)

June Mildred Schroeder, age 92, of Plainfield, IL, passed away peacefully, on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on January 27, 1931, in Lemont, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Reick) Stein.

June is survived by her children, Audrey and Harold (Carol) Schroeder; and her grandchildren, Andrew and Theresa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her son, Keith; her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation for June Mildred Schroeder will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road (at Essington), Joliet, IL, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
