Theresa M. Luna
(nee Frickey)
Theresa M. Luna, passed away peacefully, at the age of 72, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Lightways Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family. A lifelong Joliet resident, she was born on February 5, 1951, the daughter of the late Eugene and Eleanor (nee Yandura) Frickey. She attended Ss Cyril & Methodius Grade School and was a graduate of Joliet Central High School.
Theresa is survived by numerous family members.
She is preceded by her husband, Gabriel Luna, Sr.; her parents; and her devoted love of her life, her cat, “Cassie”.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, from12:00 noon until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will take place privately by the family at Oakwood Cemetery in Joliet, IL.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Lightways Hospice, Kristi Dover, and Darrin Shelby for the love and care they showed Theresa.
