Obituary of Judith Lander

Judith Ann Lander, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep, and at peace with the Lord, after battling many health issues, with her son Donald Lander and caretaker Rachael at her side, on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Judith was born in Centralia, IL on February 28, 1941, to the late Lewis and Camellia Sundermeyer.

She is also preceded in death by her son Wayne Lander; her brothers, Donald Sundermeyer and Ernie Sundermeyer; and her sister, Gwendolyn Randolph.

She is survived her son, Donald Lander; sisters, Becky Frattini and Suzan Gharadini; William Lander; Arthur Abber;  11 Grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and verbally adopted daughter, Karen Snider.

Judith had various jobs over the years, including babysitter, car hop, waitress, working at the Air Force doing check out, cutting hair, and an artist. She also worked as a Nursing-CN, RN, & LPN for over 23 years.  She had various hobbies, and had traveled to many countries. She knew the Bible and the Lord.

As it was her request, no services will be held. She will be laid to rest alongside her son and other family at Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia, IL.
