Obituary of Daniel M. Wrzek
On September 27, 2023, Dan Wrzek passed away. He had suffered a stroke 10 weeks prior.
He is survived by his parents, Catherine “Kitty” and Daniel Wrzek; his siblings, Joseph Wrzek and Diana Maslanka, and his seven children, Raymond Sutter, Brittany Pence, Matthew Wrzek, Bryan Wrzek, Hannah Wrzek, Giana Wrzek, and Dalilah Wrzek.
Danny was born on October 9th, 1963. He grew up on the Northside of Chicago, IL. He moved and spent his teenage years and young adult life around the Portage Park neighborhood where he spent a lot of his time with friends and family.
Danny was a loving father, worked hard, was a family man, and a great friend. He loved watching sports. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He also loved the Bulls, the Bears, and the Cubs.
A Memorial Service for Daniel Wrzek will be held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. All of his friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate his life.
