Obituary of Thomas K. Hogan, III
Thomas K. Hogan, III, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the age of 81, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born on August 14, 1942, in Bisbee, AZ to the late Thomas K., Jr. and Wilma Hogan.
Thomas had just recently retired after nearly 50 years as a semi-truck driver. He took great pride in his work, and he was often consulted by other drivers for the best routes and other information. He put in many long days over the years to take care of his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife Wanda. The two would have celebrated 56 years together this November. He was a proud father and grandfather, and a second father to all who had the privilege to know him. Everyone who needed a meal or a place to stay was always welcome at the Hogan House. He enjoyed cooking for his family and always made sure no one was left wanting.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Hogan; his children, Katherine Hogan Majewski, Karen (James) Zehme, Kelly (John) Parsons, Danny (Christine) Hogan, and Kay (Scot) Glomb; his grandchildren, Desiree (Timothy) Pomeroy, Thomas K.
