Obituary of Brian J. Lewis
Brian J. Lewis
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian Joseph Lewis of Joliet, IL, at the age of 43 on November 5th, 2023. Brian was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Brian was born on April 26th, 1980, in Eupora, Mississippi. Growing up he was kind hearted and mischievous, making sure everyone was entertained. In 1999, Brian met the love of his life Jennifer Rowland. They married October 14, 2007. They welcomed two children, Maverick in June of 2009, and Scarlett in September of 2013. Brian had been a dedicated employee at USIC for the past 15 years. Brian’s spare time was spent with his family. He most enjoyed weekends at Woodhaven around the campfire, spending time with his children, going to concerts, and catching up with old friends. Brian was dependable, loyal, funny, and would drop everything to help someone in need. Brian fell in love with archery after spending countless hours at the range with his son. Brian joined Team Strictly Archery, of Shorewood, IL, in September 2022.
Brian is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his son, Maverick; his daughter, Scarlett; his father, Joseph (Lena) Lewis of Shannon, MS; his mother, Treacher Bramlett of Okolona, MS; his sister, Brandi Green of Nettleton, MS; his brother, Robert Lewis of Westmost, IL; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family. Additionally, he is survived by his in-laws Richard (Amy) Rowland and their children of Shorewood, IL.
