My beautiful, loyal, loving auntie was the funnest roommate in Calabria, Rome, Bulgaria, and Romania. She always came to visit my dogs and me carrying some type of baked good. I loved going to Dairy Queen with her and watching Krampus on Christmas Eve while enjoying a mug of hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps topped with whipped cream and garnished with a candy cane. She hated scary movies, but she watched it with me anyway. Last New Year’s Eve we played Oogie Boogie Operation and ate snacks.
