Leslie Hansford Glover

Les Glover, age 65, departed this life, suddenly, Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home in Morris, Illinois where he had resided for the past 18 years.

A native of the Collinsville and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma area, he was a graduate of Collinsville High School.  Les was self-employed as the proprietor of The Handyman Service Inc.  Methodical and observant, he could troubleshoot and execute with the best of them. There wasn't anything he couldn't repair or replace.

He loved the Lord and was always willing to share the good word with his fellow Gideon's, friends, and strangers alike.

He is the beloved father of Brad Glover, Melissa Glover (Tim Kapke), and Jesse Feeback, all of Oklahoma; proud and devoted grandfather of Andrew Leslie James Glover, Raven Elizabeth Lee Glover,  Landon Cole Kapke, Sophia Elizabeth Kapke, Aidan Scott Feeback, Katie Ryan Feeback and Caydence Payton McGrath; dearest brother of Gloria, Dan, Ted, Dorothy, Iva and Tina.  He will also be missed dearly by his fiance, Cecile Petrungaro of Morris, IL; others he thought of as family including Carrie Rickmon, Salvatore Lezza, and their children, Brooklyn and Dakota. Many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Preceded in death by his wife, Grace; his parents, Viola "Vi" (Hayworth) and Amos Glover, as well as a brother in infancy.

As it was Les's wish, cremation rites have been accorded.

All friends and relatives are invited to gather on Sunday, December 31, 2023, what would've been Les's 66th birthday, at Peace Chapel, 852 School Street in Morris to celebrate his life at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be directed to his family for future disbursement to causes near to Les.
