Obituary of John Anthony Nawrot
John Anthony Nawrot, affectionately known as “Donuts”, age 54, passed away peacefully at his home in Joliet with his family by his side after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. John was born on December 2, 1969, in Harvey, IL. He was the loving son of Robert and Pamela Nawrot. He attended both St. Rita Grammar School and St. Rita High School and received his Associate's Degree from Joliet Junior College. He had been working most recently for Com Ed as an Operations Coordinator. John was a major sports enthusiast, whether it was playing golf, or following the Bears and White Sox. Most importantly, he was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Christine Nawrot; his children, Eve and Stella Nawrot; his father, Robert Nawrot; and his sister, Johanna Nawrot. He is preceded by his mother, Pamela Nawrot.
A celebration of life is being planned for John for a later date. As it was his wish, cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements entrusted to the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Joliet.
