Maria Yolanda Reyes

Age 61, of Morris, Illinois, passed suddenly, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, after suffering a seizure the day before, while at work.

She was born in Mexico on August 22, 1962, to Calia (Martinez) and the late Luis Alfonso Godinez.

She is the beloved wife of Jose Reyes; the loving mother of Ivan (Amber) Reyes and the proud grandmother of Adalynn Iris Reyes.  Maria will also be missed by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt. 6 (at Deerpath Dr.) in Morris.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 600 E. Jackson St., Morris at 12 Noon Friday.  Cremation rites will take place after Mass, and Maria's final earthly remains will be interred in Mexico at a later date.
