Obituary of Jean Anne Wilson
Jean Anne Wilson
(nee Tilker)
Jean Anne Wilson, passed away at the age of 51, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her home in Joliet surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Painsville, OH, on January 17, 1972, the daughter of the late William Charles and Margaret Louise (nee Perry) Tilker. Jean grew up in Bolingbrook and attended Romeoville High School.
Jean loved staying active outdoors. She enjoyed being out by the water with a fishing pole in her hand, riding her ATV, or shooting with friends and family. She was actively involved with the Ducks Unlimited Conservation Group, in which she was the secretary of the Three Rivers Chapter. She had a passion for gardening and animals, including her four-legged children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and embraced her role of being a grandma. She always made herself available for friends and family who needed advice or someone to listen without judgement. Family, in many different forms, was the most important thing to her.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James J. Wilson, Sr.; two sons, Nick (fiancé Nicole Namors) Tilker and James J. (Alicia) Wilson, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacklyn and Walker Wilson; and her mother and father-in-law, Wes and Shirley Wilson.
She is preceded by her parents; and two brothers, Mike and Mark Chambers.
