The outdoors and the environment were important to Ginny so we thought this small grove of trees would be a lasting and fitting memorial to her. Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

I will always treasure my art trips with Ginny and friends. We went to Kenosha Museum for the Transparent Watercolor Society show and the Art Institute in Chicago. Other trips to Dixon for the Illinois Watercolor Society show, Princeton and Peoria. We also went to workshops in Springfield and Michigan finding some new adventures and places to eat and stay over Ginny liked to drive and we'd take the back roads. We also did plein air paintings around the Morris area and our Morris Watercolor Group-free paints and having watercolor instructors each month. We had our Art Group gallery for Corn Fest and Liberty Art Days with the First United Methodist Church being our home base.
She was a dear friend, interested in art and gardening and enjoyed animals ..Her little dog, Margo was her buddy.
We'll miss her at her art table and seeing all the paintings she did while she was in Colorado each summer.
God bless, Ginny as you are in your heavenly home and will be reunited with Tom and other family members

Ginny was a tireless volunteer with the University of Illinois Extension service. She helped at our 4-H shows, was a master gardener and helped with the Environmental fair for years. A local treasure who will be remembered by many.

I met Tom and Ginny in the fall of 2003. We moved into the culdesac and our house backed up to theirs. I enjoyed visiting with both and hearing stories of JCPenny’s. Tom and Ginny would share their plants to help me build a flower garden of my own. Later Tom had passed and I swore I could hear him out in their garden working. Ginny would go on to continue and share her expertise with plants with me. I will miss those sweet memories of our chats in the garden.

My Aunt was an amazing woman. Tough, loving, honest, blunt and not afraid of life.
She stepped in to help my family by letting me live with them for 6 months. The ideals I learned while living there have influenced me in my life to date.
I will miss her so much but I know she is with Tom, where she will be eternally happy.
