I remember Aunt Fern as being someone I could laugh with and share "girlie" kinds of jokes with the rare moments we got to visit alone when I was young. She seemed to laugh a lot but also exhibited strength and a strong capability to rise to any challenge despite what the cost might be. And she had many and varied challenges to contend with in her life. I pray for all the kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, friends and all relatives who will mourn and miss her. But having seen the devastation of dementia in my mother first-hand, I celebrate her escape from that prison. I know she's now with the love of her life, my Uncle Tony. And just think, she can comfortably settle down now and stay with him in one beautiful place. With much love, Jan and Steve Russell
