My beautiful Special K!!! I will miss you til w meet again. Sharing a memory is the easiest thing I can do. There are so so many. From when we were so young from St Rays school. Then the real memories started when we started our later teens. The fun, the memories, the funny stories that we would talk about as we were going through life. We had the blessing of watching each other be moms and grandmas. You taught me what an awesome grandma is. You took my two babies like I took your three babies and held them and treated them as our own.
You helped me through losing Tio and you and David never missed to say goodbye to your bestfriend, your dance partner, and having a few flavors together.
I had to say goodbye to the physical part of you yesterday. As one our awesome friends told me yesterday that you are in our hearts and mind everyday. And when I’m sad that’s where I go and remember an awesome day I’ve had with you.
As I move forward day by day I will remember you always. David, Stacey JP Alex Camden Peyton and Theo we will always be family. I will be apart of their lives always.
Fly high my beautiful friend!
Love you always, Kimbo

“Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.”
“May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.” Amen
Karen and I went to high school together at Providence. After she graduated and I still lived in Joliet she worked at First National Bank downtown. When I would go to the bank I would see her. She was such a genuine, kind soul that always emitted light and happiness.
Luckily I ran into her a few years ago at BMO in Shorewood, it was good to see her after all those years!
Sincere condolences to the family for this loss. Karen was a lovely woman that will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
