Patricia A. Mueller, passed away peacefully, at her home in Channahon, on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was 83. Patricia was born in Chicago on August 30, 1940, the daughter of the late Peter and Victoria (nee Kasprzyk) Dobronski. Patricia worked at Palos Hospital for 28 years, and Empress Casino for 10 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church in Channahon, IL. Patricia dedicated much of her free time to serving God and the Catholic church, where she volunteered often. She was a member of CCW and the president of the Goldeneers.
She took pride in helping others and was an advocate in the Al-Anon community since 1970. She was a social woman, loved to crochet, do crafts, and had many friends that she enjoyed spending time with and entertaining. Patricia will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Patricia is survived by her son, Carl (Debbie) Rohde; two daughters, Gail (Tom) Pope, and Pamela (Terry) Paraday; grandchildren, Kathryn (Mike) Sheehan, Luke Pope, Gabbie Rohde, Jessica Pope, Justin Rohde, Alexandra Paraday, and Gillian Paraday; and her great-grandchilden, Michael and Annabelle Sheehan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mueller; her parents; one daughter, Lori J. Rohde; and her sister, Margaret Yanez.
A visitation for Patricia A. Mueller will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 24500 S. Navajo Dr., Channahon, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A private ceremony for her inurnment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Minooka at a later date.
