Age 92. Passed away Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born on April 15, 1920 in New Braunfels, TX, he was a Joliet area resident the past 50 years. Retired from Grief Brothers in Blue Island after almost twenty years of service. A Parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survived by his loving wife, Maria De La Luz (Esparza) Hurtado; his children, Rosa (Javier) Ortiz, Sergio (Margarita) Hurtado, Rosario "Chayo" (Eric) Ordonez, Eleticia "Letty" (Luis) Loza, Fortino "Cory" (Guadalupe) Hurtado, Olga (Michael) Molaschi and Tony (Estela) Hurtado; grandchildren Diana Ortiz, Erin Schultz, Jesse Hurtado, Eric (Stephanie) Ordonez, Nestor Ordonez, Ivan Ordonez, Nora (Herman) Briceno, Gladys (Johnny) Martinez, Jocy DeLucio, Luis Angel Loza, Crystal Hurtado, Mireya Hurtado, Cesar Hurtado, David Hurtado, Yesenia Molaschi, Michael John Molaschi Jr., Lesly Hurtado, Viktor Hurtado and Kayla Hurtado; 14 great-grandchildren; his brother and sisters of Zacatecas, Mexico, Jose Hurtado, Maria Oliva and Isabel Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded by a son in infancy, Norberto Hurtado; his grandson, Ruben Ortiz; granddaughter, Samantha Hurtado; his parents, Francisco Hurtado and Belen Esparza; two brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral Services for Anastacio Hurtado will be Friday, September 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m. at:
