Obituary of Samantha Hurtado

Samantha Hurtado Age 17. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. Born May 26, 1993. She was an angel and blessing to all who knew her. Survived by her loving parents, Sergio and J. Margarita (nee Picil) Hurtado; and cherished by her older sister, Erin Hurtado-Schulz; and younger brother, Jesse Hurtado; paternal grandparents, Anastacio and Maria Hurtado; maternal grandmother, Gloria Picil; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Since birth Samantha has held strong and her eternal smile was always an encouragement. She always held her head high and a smile on her face no matter what pain and or situation she was put through. To us Samantha was an angel full of blessings and joy. For now our hearts are sad and our thoughts distant, but we are comforted in the idea that God has called upon his angel that we were fortunate enough to have present in our lives. Funeral Services for Samantha Hurtado will be Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Jude for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
