I met Ed some years back when he lived in Wheaton with his mother at the time. We shared a great love for animals. He was always upbeat regardless of his situation in life. I worried about him after his mom passed as his financial situation grew dire. Thankfully the Veterans association helped get him an apartment that he could stay in and keep his beloved fur kids. He was a sweet soul often telling me of his son who he loved dearly. They shared a love of science fiction and he couldn’t wait to watch the next movie with his son. To his dear son, I’m so sorry for your loss .Rest in Peace dear Ed. To all who miss him I wish you peace and comfort.
