Obituary of Patricia Ann Dalziel
Patricia Ann Dalziel, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024. Patricia was born on May 29th, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Pearl Oltman of Minonk, IL. She had four brothers and three sisters, and she was the youngest of them all. Pat was involved in many activities such as the Christian Woman’s Club, Al-Anon, and bible studies. She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She took many courses at Joliet Junior College over the years, as she enjoyed learning new things. She also loved playing card games and reading.
Pat was an avid golfer and was a member of several leagues in Joliet, IL, and Clearwater, FL. She was the first female to golf in the Uniroyal Men’s Golf League. She golfed until she was 89 years old. She also enjoyed traveling abroad and went on several cruises.
She is survived by her children, Claudia (Greg) Ukovich and Mark (Lisa) Dalziel; her granddaughters, Melissa (Nick) Cardone and Melanie (Brad) Kunz; grandson, Corey Dalziel; grandson-in-law, Doug Darguzis; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Cameron Darguzis, and Will and Drew Kunz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and grandchildren, Justin Dalziel and Michelle Darguzis.
All friends and relatives are invited to join in the celebration of Patricia’s life on Friday, May 3, 2024, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 310 N. Broadway, Joliet, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia’s name to Lightways Hospice or St. Peter Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
