Obituary of Brian C. Hutten

Brian C. Hutten, age 55, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood. Brian was born in Joliet on June 21, 1968, and he had been a lifelong resident before moving just recently to Machesney Park. Brian was a graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 1986, and he also played quarterback for the football team. Brian worked for many years as a pipefitter, and he was currently working for Alliance Window in Romeoville. On September 8, 2006, Brian married Heather Goldfuss, and the two had most recently celebrated 17 years of marriage. Brian was an avid fisherman, and he especially enjoyed his fishing trips with his best buddy, James. He also enjoyed traveling with Heather and his canine companion, Max.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Heather; his father, Donald Hutten; brother, Tom (the late Kathy) Hutten; his sisters, Toni (Mike) Dulny and Terri (Mike) Rapez; mother and father-in-law Lisa and G. Thomas Goldfuss; sisters-in-law Rose Hutten and Angie Hutten; brothers-in-law Matthew (Cara) Goldfuss and Greg (Dave Kevish) Goldfuss; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ancy Hutten; and his brothers, Tim Hutten and Ted Hutten.

All friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Brian’s life on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rd., Joliet from 1-5 p.m. As it was his wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
