Santos V. Moreno, 76, born in Osceola, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy (Machulis), and two children, Santos (Olga) and Sancia. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and his brother, Tony (Mary) Moreno.

Santos was predeceased by his parents, Jose Angel and Lucy Moreno; sister, Josefina Venegas; and brothers, Joe, Moses and Ben (Jackie) Moreno.

A diehard Cubs fan, who enjoyed Western movies, Tejano and oldies music.  He was a beloved lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois. Santos will be remembered for his passion and devotion.
