Warren Allen Baker 

Warren Allen Baker, passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 44, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Warren was born on February 25, 1980, the son of Glen A. and Janet M. (Sharpe) Baker. Born and raised in Joliet, he was a graduate of Lockport Township High School and Lincoln Tech Automotive College. He was also a graduate of Will County Specialty Court. 

Warren loved all aspects of nature and enjoyed spending his time outdoors and fishing with his daughter, Lily. Being a nature lover, Warren had an eye for photography and captured breathtaking photos whenever he had the chance. When he wasn’t taking in all that he could outdoors, he could be found enthralled with any show on the science channel. Warren had the kindest heart and would help anyone when he could. 

Warren is survived by his daughter, Lily A. Baker-Larson; his parents; sister, Marti (Ryan) Krieger; his nephew and Godson, Benjamin Baker; nieces, Coral and Avalyn Krieger; and his paternal grandmother, Marian Baker. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. 

He is preceded by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd “Duke” Baker; and maternal grandparents, Howard W. and Carol Sharpe. 

A Celebration of Life for Warren Allen Baker will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Hawkeye Pavilion, 1811 S. Lawrence Ave., Lockport, IL. Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 noon with a luncheon and a Gathering with the family to follow.

Inurnment will be held privately by the family at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.  As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the family for the future education of his daughter, Lily.
