My sister Barb gave me the greatest give anyone could give. She always made me feel loved.
She had a heart of gold and has passed that on to her children. And the legacy of her artwork can be found in countless homes of family, friends and even strangers.
I miss you, Sis. Watch over us.

I have so many fond memories of Barb growing up. Barb’s daughter Jane was my mom’s best friend, so we spent many holidays and celebrations and get togethers over the years with Jane, Sue, Barb and the whole family when I grew up in Joliet. As a child, I loved getting ready for every holiday with all the decorations, crafting and going to fun places like parades and carnivals (much to my moms dismay haha) so Jane was always the person that stepped in to foster those early creative childhood memories - and I have Barb to thank for that since Jane is much like her mom. I don’t think I ever saw Barb without a smile on her face and a welcome with a big hug and “how are ya honey?” As much as she will be missed, I’ll remember Barb each time I talk to Jane as we get excited for what holiday is next, as I hear about Meghan and the fun plans for the kiddos as she decorates her classroom for the incoming school year, and as I remember my own mom and her incredible kindness, as I know that Barb had an impact on her life growing up too. ❤️

Having Ms. Barb in my life was a blessing, one I will cherish in my heart forever. While heaven gained an amazing angel, today our world is emptier and sadder. We will miss her deeply.
