Joseph R. Jacknick II Age 31, of Minooka, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Employed by State of Illinois as an Engineer. A veteran of the US Navy. Joe coached hockey for the Penguins and loved hunting and the outdoors. Loving husband of Samaly (nee Diaz) Jacknick; proud father of Elijah and Aleana; caring step-father of Nicole, Zachary, Emma, Kalei, and Lucybelle; dear brother of Tyler Jacknick; devoted son of Frances Jacknick and Joseph (Pam) Jacknick; great-grandson of Gloria Swidlikiewicz; son-in-law to Sara Toledo; brother-in-law to JD Diaz and Edward (Elizabeth) Diaz; great nephew to Gene Murtas; nephew to Diane (late Frank) Palermo, Mary (Jim) Lester, Patti (James) Zazas, and George Rivera; and cousin to many. Funeral services for Joseph R. Jacknick II will be Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
