Tim and I are so sad to read this!!!! Our hearts broke when we saw the obit, we don't check those obits much, and we really should. Roy and Marilyn will be missed so very much. We would like to get a hold of Cindy or Connie. I was just a little girl When I met Roy and Marilyn, they were very involved in my church "Ridgewood Baptist. . Marilyn was my sweet sunday school teacher and Vacation bible school teacher, she taught Pioneer girls. They were very sweet people at that church, and Roy Hernandez's father "Pete" was a dear friend of my husband Tim Reyes's Gramma Juanita Reyes. So many times I would hear stories that were just so cheerful about when Roy first accepted Jesus Christ into his life. When I started dating Tim Reyes, Marilyn and Roy would always come up and say how nice it was to see their " TIMMY." They knew him because Roy"s dad lived by Tim"s Gramma,Juanita Reyes who took care of Tim until age 7. One day in 2019, Roy and Marilyn called us, and asked for our address, as they had been cleaning, and found a lot of very old pictures of Tim when he was about 2, 3, and 4 yrs old. We appreciated that so VERY much , as he doesn't have many pictures. I thank the Lord for their involvement at my church and their genuine love for the Lord . We Need more Believers Like Roy and I was sad to see that Guy was no longer with them, Please Cindy , could you contact us. Love and Hugs. Tim and Lynn Reyes

Blessings and peace to the Hernandez family. Roy ( and Marilyn ) were a huge part of our lives as children and into adulthood. We cherish all the visits they made to AZ. Thank Connie for making the last couple possible. It meant so much to my Mom to see her beloved friends. Listening to our parents share their memories and stories and teasing each other over all these years, their friendship was such a great example of how friendship should be. A wonderful man of faith who loved God and his family.
