Phyllis,
Greg and I are so sorry to hear of Mickey’s passing. I am sure your heart is heavy with grief at the loss of your life long soul mate. We want you to know that it was a blessing for us to get to know both of you on that Alaska trip. The laughter and joy that Mickey brought, is a lasting legacy that will not be forgotten by those that had the privilege of knowing him. He had a gift of making everyone around him feel like a life long friend. He will truly be missed. Phyllis, we will keep you in our thoughts and pray that God will give you comfort in knowing that his soul is singing and laughing with the angels.
With much love, Kelly and Greg Stytz

Jerry, Ron, shelley, Terry, Lana and Ray and families,
I'm sorry to hear this news, your dad was a good man. He always made me feel welcome whenever I was around him as did your mom. Today my thoughts drift back to my youth and a lot of the fun times we had with one another. The neighborhood down there is definitely no longer the same but the memories remain.
Phyllis, Gig and Dusty,
I'm sorry for your loss. Lean on each other for comfort.
God Bless all of you.

I grew up going to school with many Feeneys. I never really thought about the older generation even though I grew up across the street from Grandma and Grandpa Feeney.
When I moved back to Channahon, I was a Township trustee and was able to oversee the township’s finances along with Mickey. It was in that capacity that I came to know what kind of person he was. He was hardworking, ethical and transparent with his funds and work on the township’s roads. He made sure that work he had committed to was completed to a high standard. He made sure every meeting that he was there and everything was understood and accurate before he walked out the door. I came to understand he was a person with a great deal of commitment and integrity.
Thank you Mickey Feeney for all you have done for the community. Your work has made Channahon a beautiful place to live- well cared for and with so many resources. I am grateful for the place where I worshipped and was married. God be with your family in this difficult time and may the angels take you to a well deserved rest in eternity!
