Ballak, Ann T.
(nee Galica)
Age 98. Passed away suddenly, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong resident. A lifelong parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church until its closing. Current member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, and the church Mother's Club, as well as the Jenotka Slovak Society. She was an avid gardener and accomplished artist, who loved to sew.
Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Blake Ballak (1994); parents, Michael and Theresa (nee Cisarik) Galica; two brothers, Michael and Steven Galica; and one sister, Mary Hulitai.
Survived by her two loving sons, Denis (Jan) Ballak, and Greg (Terry) Ballak; her loving grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan (Melissa), Kira (Matthew) Hansen, and Melissa (fiance Rob Raycroft) Ballak; three great-grandchildren, Spencer and Nora Ballak; and Maximus Hansen; and special great-niece, Jennifer (Cary) Pearson.
Funeral Services for Ann T. Ballak will be Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Avenue, Joliet where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Visitation Saturday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Arrangements by:
