Known as Nonnie by her loving grandchildren, she loved hosting parties and dinners for the whole family. Many laughs and good times were held in Nonnie’s kitchen over the years! She also enjoyed reading, shopping, boating, and playing euchre and bunco with her friends.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Gustafson at Hope and Healing Cancer Services, New Lenox, and Sharon’s entire care team at both Ascension St. Joseph’s Hospital, Joliet, and Lightways Hospice for the beautiful care she received.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration of Sharon’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to We Care of Grundy County, Morris, IL.
