Age 81, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Alden Courts of Waterford in Aurora, IL.  She was born on December 18, 1942, to the late Gordon and Virginia (nee Markham) Baxter, in Joliet, and was a lifetime resident.  Sandy was employed by the FDIC, as a Human Resource Assistant from 1989 until her retirement in 2007.

She is the beloved mother of Dawn Juricic and the loving godmother of Gina, nee Vangelisti (Adam) Compton.  Sandy is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sandy Baxter; her cousin, who she was very close to, Jeannie Baxter (Paul) Vangelisti, and their son, Michael (Stephanie) Vangelisti; her niece, Karin Baxter; her nephew, Michael (Lindsay) Baxter; her great-nieces and nephews, Bree (Nick) Zerkel, Kennedy Baxter and Griffin Baxter; and great-great-niece, Brooklyn Zerkel.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron Baxter.

As it was Sandy's request, cremation rites have been accorded.  Her final earthly remains will be interred at a later date.
