Obituary of Scott M. Rhodes
Scott M. Rhodes, age 48, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. Scott was born in St. Charles, IL on December 29, 1975, to Darlene Ann Rhodes and the late Ted Rhodes. He married Pattie Persico in 2011, and the two most recently celebrated 13 years of marriage. Before his illness, he worked for many years as a transport broker, overseeing the sales of produce to many stores. When not working, he was a huge fan of both the Minnesota Vikings and the Oklahoma Sooners. Most importantly, he was an all-around great guy, a friend to everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Pattie Persico-Rhodes; his mother, Darlene Rhodes; his brother, John (Karen) Rhodes; stepson, Jason Riley; nephew Johnathan Rhodes; and many cousins and good friends.
He is preceded by his father, Ted Rhodes; and his faithful companions, Saddie Ann the dog, and Skitz the cat.
