Obituary of James David Arellano
James David Arellano, age 25, taken tragically Monday, December 23, 2024, in Morris, IL. James was born on July 20, 1999, in Joliet. He grew up in Joliet, graduating from Oswego High School Class of 2017. James had been residing in Morris the past two years, making many new friends and working at the Sherwood Oaks Restaurant. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball, and also enjoyed working out. James was a kind and thoughtful young man, with a good sense of humor. His sudden loss, as painful as it has been, is only made easier by remembering how blessed we are to have him.
James is survived by his mother, Christine Arellano; his father, Michael Rainsford; his aunts who contributed so much to his upbringing, Cynthia (Scott) Arellano and Kim (Bruce) Livingston; his grandmother, Susan Arellano; his cousins who were like siblings to him, Nadia (Dharmesh) Patel, Kent (Christina) Arellano, Kevin (Melissa) Groff, Sarah (Austin) Grossi, Kyle Leos, Ethan Livingston, Ben Livingston, Annie Livingston, Eric Strom, and Luke Faught.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Dennis and Arlyce Rainsford, Norma Fronek and David Arellano; his aunt, Betty Faught and cousin, Andrew Faught.
