My sincere condolences to the immediate and extended family of Doris Kaps.
Doris changed my life. We met in a support group that I am still part of today, 28 years later. She was a quiet, steady presence in what was a chaotic life for me at that time. Our similarity of circumstance with unwanted divorces drew us closer. As we continued to get to know each other week after week we experienced the joy of seeing each other feel better and make good changes in our lives. We grew. We matured. We lived life more fully.
I am forever grateful to Doris for her life changing friendship and carry her always in my heart.
