Obituary of Frank Brandolino
Frank Brandolino, age 79, died peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at his home in Channahon on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Born in Joliet on January 10, 1946, to the late Frank and Pasqualina Brandolino, he remained a lifelong resident of the area. Frank was a shift engineer at ComEd for over 30 years. On August 13, 1966, Frank married Veronica LaPaso, and the two most recently celebrated 58 years of marriage. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cared for everyone rather than himself. In his free time, Frank enjoyed fishing, and he was an accomplished bowler, 3 times winning the Super Senior Bowler of the Year Award.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Veronica "Ronnie" (nee LaPaso) Brandolino; his children, Frank (Brian) Brandolino, Rose Brandolino, James (Julie) Brandolino, and Kris Brandolino; his grandchildren, Korey (Nicki) Brandolino, Dan (Christina) Gurnitz, Paris Anderson, Gianna Brandolino, Olivia Brandolino, and Vince Brandolino; his great-grandchildren, Ava, Kye, Nya, Rio, Fin and Emy Brandolino, and Warren Gurnitz; his sisters, Marie (the late Bill) Fleischauer and Bonnie (Joe) Weinhold; and his brother and best friend, Chris Brandolino.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Rosalee Henderson; and his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Rose LaPaso.
As it was his final request, cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later time. To leave an online condolence, visit his Memorial Tribute page at www.fredcdames.com.
