I watched you grow from a little blonde haired imp into a beautiful young lady. In our later years we became so close that we considered one another 'attached at the hip'. All the tears , all the laughing, all the times of just being together......what memories we made! And I hang on to them so desperately since you went Home to be with the Lord. I can still see you strutting around the kitchen in your apron I made you which I embrodered 'Sissy Homemaker' across the bib. There you would be baking those sugar cookies and peanut butter cookies that you and I craved. And homade spaghetti became your forte. You never realized until those last years that you were so talented at cooking. I watched you bloom into a woman who stood up for what she believed in-no matter the cost. That is so rare in people today. And your faith in our Jesus was your deepest belief of all. I miss everything about you-yes, even our little spats. Everything. Just once more l would love to hear you holler 'Spazzy' again-your nickname for me. Just once more I would love to feel your arms around me, or mine around you in our usually much needed hugs. Just once more I would love to walk into your room upstairs and see you sitting there. Just once more. We just never realize how important each day, each moment is...until they are gone and no more. But I KNOW that one day we will be together again....thanks being to Jesus! (What would we do without Him!) I Long for that day Sissy. I know you are waiting for me (how we talked about that) and when I get Home, it will be so wonderful to run to you screaming your name! What a Heavenly Reunion Sissy!
