Obituary of Mary Karl

Mary Karl Age 85, of Rockdale, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born November 20, 1924 in Joliet, she was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are her loving and devoted daughters, Beverly (Joseph Starmann) Ridenour and Rosemary (Fred Stelljes) Prince; one cherished grandson, Jason (Hillary) Mancke; one sister, Ann (late George) Malinovich; one brother, John (late Marie) Hray; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by her beloved husband, James Karl (July 1, 1990); her parents, Nicholas and Anna (nee Nedelsco) Hray; one brother, Peter Hray; and two sisters, Rose (Nick) Chuk and Katherine (Louis) Sukle. The family wishes to thank Joliet Area Community Hospice for their wonderful care. Services for Mary Karl will be Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, for services at 10:30 a.m. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
