Karos, Gust P. Age 87. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. A World War II U.S. Army veteran. Beloved son of the late Peter and Jennie (nee Kapogine); cherished brother of Nicholas (Florence), and the late William P.; loving uncle of Meloney (Craig) Herrick, Margo Karos, and Paige (Craig) Navratil; and great-uncle of Nick, Julia, Alex and Nicky. Gust P. Karos will Lie in State on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway, Joliet from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army.
