Obituary of Nory Kasprisin

Nory A. Kasprisin Age 70, of Shorewood, passed away peacefully, at home on Sunday, August 16, 2009, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born May 5, 1939 in Cali, Colombia to the late Felipe and Judith (nee Santa Cruz) Paz. Beloved wife of Stephen J.; loving mother of Bryan (Janice), Steven (Mary Beth) and David (Holly) Kasprisin; devoted grandmother of Taylor, Joelle, Madasen, Mason, Isabella and Alexandria; proud great-grandmother of Cayden; dear sister of Mary (Jorge) Cubillos of New York City, Marlene (Ralph) Miro of Tampa, FL. and Rosario (Sandor) Talas of Monticello, New York; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Oscar Paz. Nory was a graduate of the College of St. Francis. She enjoyed a 26 year career as a devoted Bilingual Teacher at Parks School in Joliet. Since retirement she enjoyed traveling, but was most happy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. All friends and relatives are invited to meet Friday, August 21, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Easter Seals of Joliet.
