Age 75. Suddenly, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Andrew "Buddy" and Elizabeth (nee Ausec) Wicevic, she lived in St. Charles for ten years, returning home in 2009. Formerly employed as a banquet waitress, and also Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Member of the Church of St. Jude. Betty Rae was an avid gardener, especially her flower garden, and had a special devotion to her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of 49 years, Dennis "Doc" Keating of Shorewood; two sons, David (Teresa) Keating of Libertyville, IL and Michael (Virginia) Keating of Shorewood; nine grandchildren, Raquel, Meghan, Jack, Sean, Kaitlyn, Jennifer and Mikey Keating; Jason and Breanna Rivera; two sisters, Alice (Chuck) Willard and Rose (Joseph) Armstrong; one brother, Alan (Pamela) Wicevic; sister-in-law, Donna Wicevic; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Andrew Keating; her sister, Bernice (John) Titre and brother, Andrew "Andy" Wicevic.
Funeral Services for Elizabeth R. Keating will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Monday, September 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
