Obituary of Marie Kempke

Marie D. Kempke (nee Weese) Age 91. Born in Rockdale, and a lifelong Joliet/Rockdale resident. Employed with Pastore's Restaurant for 12 years and Joliet Window Cleaning Service for 9 years, retiring in 1986. Member of the American Legion Harwood Post #5 Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Kempke; her parents, Albert and Clara (nee Coon) Weese; three brothers, Edward in infancy, Arthur and Albert (Jane) Weese; two sisters, Rinetta Reeves and Thresa Calahan. Survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Kempke of Rockdale; three sisters, Clara (late Joseph) Snell of Arizona, Ella (late Paul) Eliot of California and Alice (late Donald) Harrigan of Crest Hill; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Reeves and Raymond Calahan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Marie D. Kempke will be Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. As it was Marie's wish, cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services.
