Dear Hazel's family: Joanne, Bob, Nancy, Judy, and Debra,
When we lived in Joliet, we remember sometimes stopping by to see Hazel when she lived across from the hospital. Funny but we found ourselves sometimes talking about our "ouches." What muscle hurt, our doctor's appointments. Could it be because the hospital was so close? We did sometimes attend St. Paul's. And it was such a lovely warm parish. Hazel was always as welcoming as that church. We're so sorry we couldn't attend the wake. We are in Michigan and the threat of snowstorm made the decision for us. Sorry we missed everyone. We must tell you that Sherry's birthday is the same date as Hazel! August 30th but 1949! We didn't even know that until now! Hazel lived a good long life. And we know she's resting in peace and love. We missed everyone and hope we see you at a future date.
