Obituary of Hazel Partak

Partak, Hazel A. (nee Miller) Age 96. Passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Beecher Manor Nursing Home. She was a graduate of Joliet Township High School and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church since 1972. Hazel was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family. Survived by her children, Joanne (Tom Wittkofski) Knott of Shorewood, Robert (Barbara) Partak of Tahlequah, OK, Nancy (John) DeCicco of McHenry, IL, Judy (Robert) Carnaghi of New Lenox, IL and Debra (Harry) Stenhouse of Grant Park, IL; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lucille (late Hugh) Phelan, Ruth Ann (late Robert) Campbell, Kathleen (Norman) Glenn and Lois (Leo) Bernhard; one brother, James (late Vernetta) Miller; many nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Jack (Pat) McGuire. Preceded by her beloved husband of 49 years, Joseph B. Partak (1990); her parents, Lawrence A. and Frances (nee Wilhelmi) Miller; one son-in-law, Larry Knott; two brothers, Harold Miller and Donald Miller; and two sisters, Virginia Paul and Marilyn McGuire. Funeral Services for Hazel Partak will be Friday, December 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
