Obituary of Emma Knorr

Emma Ruth Knorr "Ruth" Age 86. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a Joliet resident for the past nine years. Former owner and operator of several restaurants in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Emma was a truly remarkable woman who loved life and will be missed by her surviving family. Preceded in death by her mother, Hannah Knorr and her father, Leonard P. (Margaret) Knorr, Sr.; four brothers, Charles Robert, Leonard Jr., Augustus and Dale Knorr. Survived by two brothers, James (Myra Jean) Knorr and Walter (Mary) Knorr; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral services for Emma Ruth Knorr will be private. As it was Emma's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Will County Human Society would be appreciated. No visitation. Arrangements by: Fred C.
