Obituary of Nancy Zimmer

Nancy L. Zimmer (nee LeVangie) Age 81, formerly of Joliet, went home to be with the Lord at Huntsville, IL on Friday, November 8, 2013. Nancy was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She especially loved spending time with her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by 11 children, John Zimmer, Jr., Ralph Zimmer, Patrick Zimmer, Julia (Robert) Lawler, Maria (Jesse) Fleming, Theresa (Gerard) Colagrossi, Anthony Zimmer, Joseph (Julie) Zimmer, Nancy (Mitchell) Mstowski, George (Jennifer) Zimmer and Majella (Keith) Roberts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Virginia Zimmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, John J. Zimmer, Sr. (April 20, 2006); two sons, Gerard and Karl; parents, Ralph and Hazel (nee Derocheau) LeVangie; and one brother, Ralph "Sonny". Funeral Services for Nancy L. Zimmer will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven, Hillside, IL.
