I was an RN who cared for my friend Marilyn while she spent time at Walnut Grove. I say "my friend" because she was more than a patient to me. Marilyn and I had many nights that I would sit in her room and just talk away. If I was having a bad night, she was the most generous hug in the world. They say that in nursing "there will always be that one patient who touches your heart.". Marilyn was that one for me. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and I offer my condolences.
